Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers nice and clean rooms, albeit without much of a view. The serene environment with trees adds to the ambiance. However, it comes at a higher price point. On the upside, there is an outdoor hot spring bath for relaxation.
The hotel offers a serene environment with nice, clean rooms and beautiful views. However, the lack of lighting at night can be a downside. The service goes above and beyond expectations, making the stay convenient and enjoyable.
This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed with tatami flooring, and the Shigaraki-Yaki hot spring tub on the balcony was a delightful touch. However, the initial telephone encounter was off-putting but was quickly overshadowed by the exceptional service we received throughout the stay. The location was peaceful by Lake Biwa, even though there wasn't much around, and the dining experience was simply delightful. Overall, a great place to relax and unwind, with some minor drawbacks.
